Dana Campbell Vineyards:

What's New With Us

Coming Soon ~

We have sampled wine produced by our grapes, and recommend you do as well.  We were quite pleased with our 2008 stand alone Malbec and Tenmpranillo, as well as the blend from our Tempranillo and Viognier, wich we call "Vionillo". We will have an even in the fall of 2010 to commemorate these new wines.

Although we will have just one case of "Vionillo" bottled under the Dana Campbell Vineyard label from our 2007 harvest, we will have several cases from three types of wine bottled from the 2008 vintage. You can also buy wine made with our 2007 and 2008 grapes from the Schmidt Family Vineyard. See their website at: www.sfvineyards.com or email them at schmidt@sfvineyards.com

Our View toward the Future ~

1320We are expanding!  We were fortunate to purchase the adjacent property from our neighbors last spring and are slowly expanding.  It is a beautiful 20 acre site that was previously used for grazing.

We have starting to layout the next several irrigation and grape planting blocks and have begun the planning process for our Winery that will go in the northeast corner.  We hope to break ground for the winery in the summer of 2010 and should be planting up to 16+ more acres starting in the spring of 2011.  This year we have cleaned up the site and tilled everything under and have planted a cover crop in the new vineyard area. There is always more up-front preparation than we ever could have expected, but it is exciting to take each new step in the process.

We hope to leverage the existing home into a future tasting room and maybe overnight accommodations. Stay tuned to future updates.
