About Dana Campbell Vineyards ~

Our goal is to produce quality, estate grown, wines that are offered in our relaxed and picturesque environment.

We are located in Southern Oregon, just 2 miles from Ashland’s downtown in the beautiful Rogue Valley.  Pat and Paula originally purchased the property in 1997. We dabbled in a little farming; Echinacea, oats, late maturing pasture grasses and the like.  Only in 2005 did we begin to explore in earnest the ideas of raising a vineyard.

With great advice from local experts and our consulting vineyard manager (Randy Gold) on our soil types and limitations, slope and sun, anticipated weather impacts and other concerns, we selected three unique varietals; tempranillo, malbec and viognier, as our first three grapes.  We have roughly 6.5 acres in vines and will soon be expanding.

Pat and PaulaPat and Paula have both recently retired from professional careers and are enjoying the opportunity to spend quality time with each other literally watching and participating in the fruits of their labor. Committed to quality fruit and long term stability, both have remained active in the vineyard which helps to understand and participate in vineyard maintenance, understanding the need and times to drop fruit, and maximize the brix (sugar content) for the best possible grape harvest.

Initially, we are selling our grapes to Schmidt Family Vineyards as we appreciated their desire to produce quality, stand alone varietals. This has allowed us to continue to grow and learn the industry.

P&P HIOur Name ~ We incorporated both of our names, Patrick Dana Flannery and Paula Campbell Brown, for the vineyard and ultimately wine production: Dana Campbell Vineyards.
